Burn experience: Has worked with burn patients for more than seven years

Why burns: “After being a home health and psych RN for 23 years, I’d obtained my masters degree and burns was my first NP position. Although this was completely unchartered territory for me, I quickly found it to be quite rewarding. I stuck it out because it’s a very necessary service, we service anyone regardless of finances, and the “ feel good” of repairing, restoring, and possibly getting someone back to a near normal level of function!” 

Personal life: Has 2 adult sons, and a “witty, fabulous, gorgeous seven-year-old granddaughter, Kamora”; Enjoys bargain hunting, singing, and gardening in her free time
