Burn experience: "My burn experience began as a nursing graduate in 2020 in the critical care setting, and then later to the outpatient setting."
Why burns: “I first came into contact with this line of work while in nursing school observing BICU. I started my nursing career there after graduation on that same unit. I was able to witness people beat all odds and survive the most traumatic of injuries. It became a calling for me to be a small part of their success story. Seeing people recover and heal from such traumatic injuries is rewarding and inspirational.”
Personal life: "My favorite pasttime is spending quality time with my husband and our children. We love boating, fishing, hunting, and baseball. I also enjoy cooking and gardening."
