Burn experience: Began working as the Office Manager for the burn program in Mississippi in 2009.

Why burns: “When I first started this journey in 2009, this was all new to me. I was excited, and at the same time afraid, so I’d like to think that BURNS chose me! … My career in healthcare started off slightly differently, but in the end, I am still working toward the same goal of helping patients. I wanted to work in a place that mattered, a place where I knew that we as a TEAM were always making a difference. I can honestly say that we are doing exactly that. I am honored to work with the best TEAM ever.” 

Personal life: Proud mom of one daughter and one German Shephard; enjoys cooling, reading and shopping in her free time.
